Since our founding, our mission has always been to change the culture by making it easy and accessible for people to make healthier choices within marginalized communities.
Food apartheid has affected marginalized communities since the beginning of time, creating food deserts, leaving economically disadvantaged communities without non-healthy food options.
Our Purpose
Blacker the Berry Juicery is focused on building a global community around health and social justice. We are telling authentic stories about economically disadvantaged communities who have been a victim of food apartheid, whole filling the need for healthy food access and equity within and outside of our community.
Each purchase helps us to create and implement food system practices that promote the health and well-being of community members and incarcerated people while increasing the demand for healthier food options.
